I would rather take someone who is trying and goes a little astray over someone who stays safely silent and really doesn’t give a damn. But despite that, I think with Prajje at least she was genuine in her attempt to be supportive, and I appreciated that. Did she say some things that were super cringey? (“I have a model of Asian descent therefore I’m going to use muted colors.”) Huh? Yes. She just wasn’t reading the room and she didn’t understand that she started making it about herself even after he was ready to move on. I also appreciate that she was trying to support Prajje. I’m a Black woman and appreciate the allies of Black Lives Matter and other BiPoc led liberation movements. I think the stress had gotten to Meg and I ultimately felt a bit sorry for her. I’m Asian btw, not that it should matter. People love to single out and belittle outsiders. It just brought up a lot of past issues with bullying and mental health that I’ve had to deal with in life. Meg ran off crying and everyone ignored her. Kenneth ran off crying and everyone jumped to confort him. At least Prajje had a legitimate reason for asking. First Coral (nobody attacked her for initially saying no, but Christian himself forced her hand) and then Meg. I also was annoyed that it was the women being asked to sacrifice. It felt like all the cool kids gaining up on the outsider with mental health issues until she was driven to quit. What really made me uncomfortable was the bullying of Meg afterwards. Even though it put her at a disadvantage. Half way into the challenge, it was an unfair request. So suddenly she realizes that she might come across as hypocritical or racist if she said “no”. The thing was, she had already backed herself into a corner because of her long winded speech to Prajje. Kind of like a white person who is not used to being around black people.īut when Kenneth wanted her to switch models at the eleventh hour and she got mad at him, I felt sorry for what happened to her as a result. Maybe her heart was in the right place, but she was over the top. When Meg went on and on and on with Prajje about white appropriation and everything else, god, yes, it was annoying. In the years since her stint on "New Girl" came to an end in 2017, Megan has predominantly appeared in smaller films ("Above the Shadows," James Franco's "Zeroville," South Korean war drama "The Battle of Jangsari," straight-to-VOD family comedy "Think Like a Dog" and survival flick "Rogue") that failed to gain much mainstream recognition. The project garnered tons of early buzz in 2020 when the actress started dating co-star Machine Gun Kelly, who's credited by his real name, Colson Baker, in the credits. Along with Bruce Willis, Megan stars as an FBI agent on the hunt for a potential serial killer in the crime-thriller, which is due in July 2021. In April 2021, Lionsgate dropped several first-look photos for Megan Fox's most buzzed-about film project in years: "Midnight in the Switchgrass," which marks the directorial debut of producer and "Vanderpump Rules" personality Randall Emmett.
